As an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization, our mission is to provide handmade blankets to New Jersey children suffering serious illness and trauma.
We gladly welcome handmade blankets of all sizes and styles (knit, crochet, quilt, fleece, flannel). We also distribute handcrafted infant hats, cancer caps, newborn booties and layettes, children’s sweaters, pillow cases, gloves, scarves, outwear sets, pajamas, tote bags and handcrafted soft plush toys.
Our outreach includes area facilities that serve fragile children. They include: state hospitals, cancer treatment facilities, health clinics, homeless shelters, youth hospice, behavioral clinics, grief counselors, special-needs camps and state non profits.

Project Linus NJ, Inc. is a 100% volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization headquartered in the Monmouth County area of New Jersey. Our outreach is throughout the state of NJ, and includes partnerships with national and international child-based relief organizations. Over 1,200 dedicated “blanketeers” create original, handmade blankets, preemie sets for fragile newborns and hand crafted toys for children suffering serious illness and trauma. Our recipients include hospitals, cancer treatment facilities, clinics and homeless shelters, hospice, and behavioral clinics where children from birth to 17 years of age are impacted by the comfort and love a “made from the heart” blanket provides. Inspired by the Peanuts character, Linus Van Pelt, Project Linus NJ, Inc. believes that every child has the right to feel secure in the world. We are partners in healing, on a mission of hope.
